Booking

A reservation is confirmed once the deposit has been paid and you have had written confirmation from us. Until both of those things have happened the dates are not held.

The person who books has to be at least 18 and is responsible for everybody else on the booking.

Who is staying

The number of guests on the booking is the number of people who may stay. If that changes, tell us before you arrive. Bringing more people than the house is booked for is grounds for us ending the stay.

Several of the houses take pets. Say so when you book rather than on the day.

Arriving and leaving

Check in and check out times are on each villa's page and in your confirmation. Tell us if your flight makes them impossible and we will usually work something out.

The house itself

Treat it as you would your own. Accidents happen and we would far rather hear about a broken thing than find it. Damage beyond ordinary wear may be charged for.

Parties and events need our agreement in advance.

Things outside anybody's control

Power cuts, water outages and the internet dropping are facts of life on this coast. We fix what we can as fast as we can. They are not grounds for a refund on their own, and we will always tell you what is happening.

The wildlife is wild. Monkeys, iguanas, snakes and insects live here and are not a defect.

Law

These terms are governed by the law of Costa Rica.
